GOMEZ ADDAMS (Lead) – Male, Able to play 40’s-50’s (Strong Tenor). A man in his prime, of Spanish descent and a wild Iberian passion. Adores his wife, takes great pride in his children, and, in the larger sense, in his family. He revels in all it means to be an “Addams.” His desire for Morticia is undimmed after 20 years of marriage, and it takes very little to fire up his lust, although it appears they haven’t tango’d in quite some time. He struggles with having to keep his daughter’s secret from his wife, whom he adores more than death. Smart and honest actor with great comedic timing.

MORTICIA ADDAMS (Lead) - Female, Able to play 40's-50's (Alto/Mezzo Soprano) Beautiful, the real head of the family and the critical and moving force behind it, easy comedic actress with a sexy, dry wit, feels her husband is hiding something from her and will use any tactic to lure the secret out, a strong dancer.

UNCLE FESTER (Supporting) - Male, Able to play 40’s – 50’s (Tenor). The androgynous family member who serves as the musical’s narrator. Fester is larger than life, child-like, hugely enthusiastic, and totally incorrigible. A strong vaudevillian style comedian. An honest and sweet actor with a strong tenor voice. He should be physically round ish/stocky. Must be willing to shave head or already be bald. No facial hair preferred.

WEDNESDAY ADDAMS (Lead) - Female, Able to play 18-21 (Strong Pop/Rock Belt). Wednesday has the same dry wit and sensibility of her mother. Finds love with a "normal" boy (Lucas) and wants to introduce his family to hers. Great actor with strong, witty, DRY sense of humor. A dancer is a plus.

GRANDMAMA (Supporting) - Female, Able to play 102. Ancient. Good-natured, easily led. She is a feisty 102 year old woman. Fun and quirky, but don’t mess with Grandma; she will cut you. Comedic actress with strong character vocals and great comedic timing.

PUGSLEY ADDAMS (Supporting) - Male, able to play 12. A charming, funny, husky boy who loves being tortured by his sister. He wants to ensure he won’t lose his sister to her new boyfriend so he takes matters into his own hands. His singing voice needs to be unchanged.

MAL BEINECKE (Supporting) - Male, able to play 40’s – 50’s (High Baritone/Tenor). Stuffy father of 19 year old Lucas and exasperated husband to his rhyming wife, Alice. Military man, a man who must be obeyed, with little patience for his wife and son. At one time was a follower of The Grateful Dead but has lost that side of himself.

ALICE BEINECKE (Supporting) - Female, able to play 40’s (Soprano Belt). Mother of 19 year old Lucas, devoted to her family so she puts aside her own desires. Quirky female who often speaks in rhyme. She truly loves her husband and loves that he takes charge; removing any responsibility from her for making decisions. However, since he has become more distant, she has taken to drinking. She has refocused her love to her only son, Lucas. While at the Addams Family dinner party, she drinks a potion that causes her to let her hair down and speak her truth. Must be very funny and sing very well. Strong, comedic actor.

LUCAS BEINECKE (Lead) - Male, Early 20’s (Pop/Rock Tenor). Attractive, in shape young man, fell in love with Wednesday Addams and plans to marry her, experiences the youthful pain and drama of young love and struggles with the differences between his family and the Addams family, contemporary pop tenor vocals. A classic co-dependent, Lucas feels good when everybody's happy.

LURCH (Supporting) - The taller the better, a man of very, very few words, often spoken at half speed, most of what he utters is long, plaintive groans, some tinged with irony or exasperation. Bass vocal if possible.

ANCESTORS: They play the dead ancestors of the Addams Family and help narrate the show with Uncle Fester. They all are different people from different moments in time from a cavemen to a flight attendant and everywhere in between. Casting 3-8 men and 3-8 women. These are adult roles but middle and high school students are welcome.

These are singing and dancing roles. The ancestors are on stage much of the show as a Greek Chorus of sorts. Must be willing to embrace your inner quirkiness!
