Cast & Crew

Each of our shows require the help of an onstage cast and a backstage crew. Time commitments will depend on the type of work performed, but onstage cast members should expect to spend 3-4 evenings in rehearsal in the weeks before performance dates, as well as the days of the performance. Backstage crew assistance (including costuming, set construction, and stage hands) will vary.

Committee Tasks

Our board of directors is made of three committees which help perform the work we need to do year-round. These committees are the External Affairs, Internal Affairs, and Governance. Each committee may ask for help completing specific, time-limited tasks that do not require committing to serving on the board.

Some possible examples might be: Posting advertisements around the community; Scanning archival photos for preservation; or, Helping maintain the schoolhouse grounds. (This list is not exhaustive—there’s lots for us to do!)

Join the Board

We are actively seeking additional organizing help throughout the year on our Board of Directors. Directors serve three-year terms and can assist us with:

• External Affairs – Organizing productions, helping with promotion and advertising, assisting with fundraising efforts
• Internal Affairs – Helping with the facility management, maintaining financial records
• Governance – Keeping archives of board and organizational business; recruiting and training new directors
